a snakey week

my love

it seems that i've been so comfortable
with my single status that i've totally
forgotten of that one day when couples
proclaim to each other of their undying love....
valentine's day.
a day of roses, chocolates and loads of sweet nothings,
a day when male chauvinistic pigs magically transform into gentlemen,
a day when singles love to hate,
a day when singles desperately go look for a date,
a day when dateless people calls it "friendship day"...
as for me, it's will just be a normal wednesday.
and i like it that way. :)

it was my first time, and you can call me "shua gu" for all i care...
but i really enjoyed myself.
and it wouldnt have been that fun without the
fabulous company of fauzi, suping and sabrina!
sitting on the carpet along arab street never felt so good.
laughing, joking, smoking, singing, taking photos, stoning...
it really felt like i was in heaven.
a huff, and a puff, and we smoked till the break of dawn...

to see my designs in the news,
to see my logo being blown up on the stage,
to see students wearing tshirts bearing my logo,
to see my banner and posters hanging up high for the public to see...
two words... overwhelming, satisfying.
i want my designs to inspire and motivate people.
i want my designs to touch and captivate people.
i want my designs to have an impact on those who sees them.
that's the reason why i'm doing what i'm doing... designing.
i hope my future works would continue to do just that,
possibly even more, and touch even more lives.

going to hospitals is always depressing.
i know many feel the same.
as i walk through the ward,
i reframe from looking at the other patients.
the sicken face,
the painful expression,
the moaning cries,
the sadden look on the faces of their family members...
it's too much for me to bear.
i just wish they wouldnt have to go thru so much pain....
and yet my mum deals with such patients everyday.
i respect and admire her for that.

we walked around the huge IKEA at Tampines,
browsing through beds and chairs and wardrops and lightings...
only to purchase 5 snakes in the end...
and they are not even funiture to begin with...
we did have dinner at the cafe though,
which was awesome i must add.
supper at simpang bedok after that only
made the day even better than it already was.
i ate a lot that day.
thank God i have high metabolism. dun hate me! haw haw haw...

finally caught up with rain and jeremiah.
love hanging out with them.
always a pleasure.
always a must.
always... late. i'm blaming it on traffic!!!
we went to Indulgence, a restaurant opposite Bugis Junction, for dinner.
food's fantastics and the interior is classy.
expect to pay generously, but it sure is worth it.
after which, we went over to Starbucks, Bugis Junction, for coffee and
a game of watever-the-name-of-the-game-is.
just wana say i love the both of you man!
rain, we so hafta meet up more often.
miss the good old times when we always hung out together and just lepak.
but i guess as we grow older and have other commitments like work and stuff,
it only makes it harder to find time to do the things we wana do.
but just so you know, you'll always have a special place in my heart.
that is without a doubt.

all i ever wanted from her was a fabulous hair cut...
not only did my hair stylist did just that,
she bought me a beautiful pendant as well.
a sliver cross from Perlini's Silver.
it was so unexpected.
never would i expect my celebrity hair stylist
to buy me gifts.
you're amazing faye!!!
